Weddings begin at $3000

Portrait sessions begin at $450

How would you describe your style?

We mainly shoot in a candid, documentary style. We want to allow the moments – no matter how big or small – to naturally unfold, because those are what makes your day so unique, and it’s what makes up the story you will share for generations.

How do you deliver our photos?

Every package includes an online gallery for your engagement session and another gallery for your wedding day. All images are fully edited and you have full access (they are your photos, after all!), including downloads of the full resolution images, social sharing, and the ability to order high quality prints. Depending on your package, you may also receive a USB with a backup of all your wedding images so you don’t have to worry about doing it yourself.

Why hire a photography couple?

Chances are, you will have 2 photographers at your wedding no matter who you hire. However, because we know each other so well, we have a unique dynamic that you won’t get with most photographers. Chris often sees things from a different perspective. Jess might notice a delicate detail. We each have our own strengths and work together dynamically to cover each other’s weaknesses (because that’s what marriage is all about, right?) 😉

Do you travel?

Absolutely! If your wedding or engagement session is within 50 miles, there is no additional charge. Anything outside of that may have an additional travel fee. In the case of weddings outside of 50 miles, we just ask for normal travel expenses to be covered (flights and any lodging).

how many photos will I get?

In a standard engagement session, you can expect between 75-100 images. Wedding days average about 100 images per hour we are there, with no less than 600.

How long does it take to get the images back?

Depending on the busyness of the season, anywhere from 4-6 weeks!

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! If there was one thing we want people to know, it would be that our job is only half way done once your photos are finished. There is something unique and powerful about holding a photograph in your hands – it connects you emotionally to your photos in a way that a computer screen isn’t able to. We can talk more details about the albums, just ask!

Do you still take the ‘formal’ family photos?

Of course. These are just as important as any other part of the day, and we work closely with you to create a shot list so we don’t miss any combinations!

We are awkward in front of the camera. Will you help us?

The fact that this question is on this list means that 99% of our couples feel this way, too. We work to avoid stiff and unnatural poses. Instead, we will help direct you both in such a way that brings out your natural self and shifts your focus away from us and onto each other.

how long do you stay on the wedding day?

Basic coverage starts at 6 hours and goes up depending on which package works best for you. We want to be there for every part of the day – we don’t want to miss anything! We always try to cover getting ready all the way through to the reception. If needed, additional hours can be added on.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. We are fully insured and should meet any requirements held by your venue.

How do we book you?

Head over to the CONTACT page and lets start a conversation! We require a signed contract and 50% deposit to secure your date.

Can we see some full wedding galleries you’ve photographed?

Absolutely! We encourage you to ask this of every photographer you are considering. It’s really important to know how well your photographer can handle different lighting situations throughout the day, and to make sure they capture the kind of moments you want.

What makes you better than your competition?

If you’ve spent anytime looking around for photographers, you’ve probably noticed we’re just one of many. So what makes us better than the rest? We’re not better in all cases. But the work we’re doing now is better than the work we were doing six months ago. And the work we’ll be doing six months from now will be better than the work we’re doing today – because our goal isn’t to try and outdo every other photographer, our goal is to outdo ourselves every time we take photos, and to be the best we can for our couples.
